This has been in the English press today, with John Terry being quizzed about whether he's happy having only started 7 games this year or something. He said he is, but I reckon that's cause he's getting old and releases he gets paid a lot of money to not have to run around on a creaking...

I changed the long shots option to rarely on everyone, plus have been trying to get the players that have it as a PPM to unlearn it. They have been resistant, but only Fat Frank still has it (and I didn't bother even trying with him, what would he be if he didn't punt the ball into orbit...

Oh and I just got offered a new contract. Can you tell I'm pleased? :o)

Just thought I'd mention my next game was the second leg of the CL semi final. Going into the game 2-0 down. Changed my tactics to the Better Half's asymetric, with some modifications, as I felt that best matched my players and Raikan007's suggestions. Was beating Bayern 2-0 at about 60...

Ok thanks, I will get on that. Think it's probably time to set my own tactic up, rather than downloading. I normally do, but this edition, which is the hardest to get right, and so therefore I think the most realistic, I have been standing on other people's shoulders!

Eek it got worse! No on 4 game run of losing, albeit after Man Utd I had Arsenal, Man City then Bayern Munich. Season = fail, unless I turn around a 2 goal deficit vs Bayern. At this rate I won't even qualify for CL football next year, which could be catastophic...

Thanks - having really looked at PPMs yet, so will do that now. Just had a run of 3 wins, beating Spurs, Braga (6-2!!!) and Liverpool. I am probably too impatient, but then I'm working for Abramovich so I probably have to be!

Just thought I'd add something about the goals i concede, they're generally from RUBBISH defending, or else passing the ball direct to the opposition by defenders or GK. My players are ultimately pretty good, they shouldn't really be doing this...!
