[Another...] Will this Computer run FM fast?

Agree with RichTUK, i5 6500 is your best option (because its newer and has some additional features over gen 5 e.g. DDR4) but an i5 4400 or i5 4690 are also solid choices. The i7 will have no benefit for FM and little (if any) benefit to overall performance - as long as you have the OS on a SSD...

[Another...] Will this Computer run FM fast?

Yeah it would run FM absolutely fine (several leagues and large player database) seems a decent price too (might want to double-check its legit, not heard anything about this company before). Processor makes the biggest difference to FM performance the i5-4690k might give you 10-20% better...

    New laptop help

Yes just go into your saved games folder - usually somewhere like user 'documents - sports interactive - Fm 2016', copy them to a memory stick, and put them in the equivalent folder on your new laptop

Help buying a new laptop to suit my FM needs!

    1. For the Hard-drive you have three choices: SSD, SSHD and HDD. The hard-drive determines how fast your computer can access stored data and will impact how long it takes to boot-up your PC, load applications and transfer files from one area to another. It will not impact gaming performance...

    Laptop/computer reccomends

Depends on the spec of the HP pavilion g6 - otherwise, a desktop computer will be better for FM, you will be able to get a fairly new (second-hand) i5 pc for £300 on ebay (that is if you don't need a graphics card for 3D gaming)

Bit of spec advice needed with setup

The more players you load the slower it will be - with 2GB RAM it is probably best to stick with a medium/large database size without adding any additional players in the advanced database options

    fm spec

Any of these would perform considerably better than the one in the OP - they are all refurbished though (still get 1 year warranty) - I would go with the last one personally ACER Aspire E5-571 Refurbished 15.6" Laptop - Black Deals | PC World HP 15-g092sa Refurbished 15.6" Laptop - Black Deals...

Bit of spec advice needed with setup

Also depends on your processor - If it is on the slow side I would probably only run with 1 active league (maybe 2) - the more leagues and divisions you have the more fixtures your PC will have to process, and the slower it will be (particularly as you get further and further into the future)...

    fm spec

It isn't ideal - CPU is old and not particularly powerful (compared to newer ones), 2GB RAM is not ideal - for £300 you could get something quite a bit faster new

    Computer performance problem.

The stars aren't always the best indication of performance - is your game actually running slow? What spec is your computer?

    Laptop For Under £350

I would personally go for this which has a better processor, more RAM and bigger harddrive - but its refurbished (still has 1 year warranty): HP Notebook 15-r150sa Refurbished 15.6" Laptop - Black Deals | PC World This one has similar spec but different brand and slightly more expensive...

Will this laptop run fm 2015 fast with multiple leagues and in later years?

Yes - shouldn't have any issues running 8 leagues over a long time. Could only really improve on that with a desktop.

    Laptop Specs

2.2GHz assumes a single core; the i3 is dual core with hyperthreading so it will run FM fine. What's your budget? You may be able to get an i5.

Need help with what laptop will run FM?

This is reasonable for around £300: PSSG0E-023001EN, Toshiba Satellite Pro R50-B-12V, W996419 - Save on Laptops Then there are a couple of refurbs from curry's - this one with a bigger harddrive and 2GB more RAM (but 4GB is plenty for FM) Buy HP Notebook 15-r150sa Refurbished 15.6" Laptop -...
