Im playing the World Cup in 2022 as the manager of Brazil. My left back Marcelo retires DURING THE TOURNAMENT. He plays the group stage and the second round... his retirement date is 31st of June... and when I get to the quarter finals he's gone.... very irritating...
The best players (check luciano) in my team are away on international duty , but still there is a game on against Tottenham. The last couple of games I've been struggling to any goals in and draw most the games. I expect to lose heavily... check out the score... :S
I've not read through this thread, so I might be double posting a few of these ideas:
1. It be great if your teams reputation adapts, straight after the league has finished, so that players who are out of contract are more likely to sign for you because they know the prospect for next season...

I got a great Polish striker and in August, September and October he almost scores every game... In November we lose two or three games and his morale is low... turns out he can't settle in the country.... when he was scoring he was...
One of my players has been unhappy for one and a half season so far... :s
I wonder if there's something to restore the relationship with the player... Send him on a fancy dinner with his wife or something... :)
Is there a way to quickly resolve issues with unhappy players?
One of my starplayers (James Ashmore) doesn't get along with someone (Thomas Pinault) I use as a rotation player. I told Ashmore he should try to get along with Pinault and straight away he wants to be put on the transferlist. I...
He's good and gets his goals, but in my game he keeps running with the ball... I put him on training but he keeps doing that... He'd be even better if he passed the ball more..
I also got Thomas Simons... a dutch striker... he's quite old, but he's a great finisher... top scorer so far!
