I have tried to install the game to run through steam and run off the CD and both methods are unsuccesful. The computer crashes when trying to run the game and having looked at the install log this seems to be the problem:
Execute Uninstaller: $USER_INSTALL_DIR$$/$Uninstall $PRODUCT_NAME...
