V3 with positive mentality is just about the best balance I have found so far. Very attacking seemed to work when I had lower expectations, but as the teams work out how you play, you need to be less gung ho.
@veez Any thoughts on PPMs for the central SS? I have an 18 year old (Jamal Musiala) who I think could be brilliant, he has no PPMs at the moment, what would you train?
Shame, it's a pity the game doesn't recognise their contributions enough - they are involved in a lot of build up play but don't get the recognition in the ratings. I might try take off a few PI's and see what happens.
Would be interesting to see how the BBM's change if they were dropped to the Volente roles, may give that a go - Feel free if you're in the mood for testing @veez

Still no better tactic I've found than this one, again as before, total credit goes to whoever actually created this in FM19. I've made a few tweaks for the latest ME, but still working.
You seem to get a bit less from the wingers in the latest patch, but is still giving me great results...
No love for this tactic it seems, but a quick update anyway.
I've found that changing the WB roles to WB(D) helps defensively, have used that to good effect on a 15 game unbeaten streak in the Prem, 1st season with Leeds.
On course for a Top 6 finish and a Carabao cup win.
