and its best not to conclude deals for any south americans/africans who are 15-16, unless you're 200% sure they're going to be monsters...otherwise you spend money and agree a deal, and by the time they join you, they best they can be is 'good' players rather than quality or key players.
to be honest, dont worry about regens for the first two seasons at least...they all start popping up from the third season and beyond..you need to have pretty good scouts with knowledge in south america and africa mainly...manually search brazilian teams like santos, fluminese, corinthians etc...
this amazing guy is joining me on 1st of Jan...extremely versatile...amazing overall player. only down side is he's a a bit old - 25...as a rule, i never sign anyone older than 22. had to make an exception for this guy.

oh thats a really nice development pattern...i usually just rejected regen strikers that had such low composure..i never knew that composure could increase so dramatically in the space of 5 years...even with individual training, thats amazing!! good for you!

because i've trained most of my starting 11, including a lot of my amazing substitutes, for 3 years between the age of 18 and 21...which means that not only are they home grown, they're actually grown at my club :) and a couple of my subs are french :D
