I have added some player names to generate a new database but its not loading the changes when I am starting a new game...any clues anyone?

I`m trying to add a players name, basically invent a player & add it to the database but even though I am saving the data the player is never there when I start the game...what am I doing wrong??

Can anyone help as I want to upload images, kits, logos etc from fm 2009 to fm 2010....does it work and if so how? Thanks p.s. got the game a day early by ordering through game.com!
