The download link isn't working me for me for some reason :/ Do you use any opposition instructions, and have set piece tactics?

    4-4-2 SIMEONE'S TACTIC FM 19 !

Your FM18 version of this was my go-to tactic and I'm happy to say that this will likely be the same again for FM19. Promoted 1st season with Wigan with 0 transfers and am currently sitting 6th in the Prem after 17 games with 8 wins, 6 draws and 3 losses. Bought Jack Marriott for £5 mil in the...

    USA Style 442

Thoroughly enjoying this with my 3rd season Burnley save. Have the perfect players for it and its doing wonders. Will post results soon, but has to be said so far this is one of my favourites on FM this year! Reminds me of Leicesters title winning season.

THE WINGER-DRIVEN FLAT 4-4-2 - Underdog Special (influences from Knap)

Hi Ivers, Glad you're enjoying the tactic and thanks for sharing your results! I too can confirm that the home tactic seems to be the way forward in more recent patches, and I would now advise against using the man marking for wingers on full-backs and focus more on buying the right kinds of...

THE WINGER-DRIVEN FLAT 4-4-2 - Underdog Special (influences from Knap)

Thanks man! Its still a work in progress haha. Yeah 50/50, they scrap to get the ball back quite quickly and then theres fairly quick build up play so makes sense really.

THE WINGER-DRIVEN FLAT 4-4-2 - Underdog Special (influences from Knap)

Same with Wing backs, although to be honest the best thing you can do is try to get tall fast full backs with good jumping reach, positioning, concentration and anticipation - means they should be able to compete in the air and prevent crosses more readily.

THE WINGER-DRIVEN FLAT 4-4-2 - Underdog Special (influences from Knap)

I'd only use this at home really, same principles apply for away, although I'm still struggling to get it right for away games to be honest - sometimes can get dominated down the flanks.

THE WINGER-DRIVEN FLAT 4-4-2 - Underdog Special (influences from Knap)

Thanks for pointing this out! After a bit of testing, I've worked out that if you do the following it should help to reduce conceding from crosses: 1) Wingers specifically marking opposition full backs (i.e. Left winger specifically mark right back in player instructions). 2) Turn on close down...

THE WINGER-DRIVEN FLAT 4-4-2 - Underdog Special (influences from Knap)

Glad to hear it! Report back my man, I've yet to test this with a top team so it may prove to be pretty bad - its a fairly basic template after all.

THE WINGER-DRIVEN FLAT 4-4-2 - Underdog Special (influences from Knap)

No problem man, realistic tactics are what this game is about, not breaking the match engine :) Glad you're enjoying.

THE WINGER-DRIVEN FLAT 4-4-2 - Underdog Special (influences from Knap)

This is the first time I have uploaded a tactic here so bare with me... In recent years I've been particularly interested in the success of the 4-4-2, with the likes of Sean Dyche's Burnley, Ranieri's Leicester and even Iceland showing that the 4-4-2 is still more than ever able to defy...

    Tactics from differant forums {around the world}

Has anyone come across a solid flat 4-4-2 tactic? Something like Sean Dyche's Burnley/ Simeone's Atletico/ Valverde's Barca. I've got a good working 4-4-2, and there plenty of solid decent 4-2-3-1's and 4-1-2-3's, but I'm yet to find that really amazingly solid flat 4-4-2. Any help...

Do you have a download link for this? Been looking for a solid 4-4-1-1 for ages and have struggled in making one myself.
