i call that realistic, experience in those situations probably have some role in it. i see it on a lot of fm games in ai clubs, some lower club plays well above its expectations in the first part of season but generally start to drop as better teams regain their form in second part.

Is there any chance that your players might be giving interviews for newspapers in a manner you & other managers do ? It wouldnt be hard to implement, and i think it would greatly improve player feedback, as there is almost none now, plus it would be nice to see your star gives a interview...
