I posted a similar thread a while ago regarding the same issue. Had made Hearts one of the biggest clubs in the world in a long term save. I think it is a bug in the game that has never been fixed in any of the updates...

How much are you paying him? Ps I got him on a free in a Hearts save in FM2012. I can remember how old he was but I also trained him as a Centre Mid to good effect.

Gutted missed out on a play off place on goals scored... That hurt. Hopefully will win the league outright next season.

After a stronger second half to the season I finished in a comfortable 13th position. Hopefully with a few tweaks can push for promotion next season. Ps loving how fast that you get get through a season playing this way!

Just done pre-season before the first BSP campaign and brought in some new decent players for the standard of the league. Andy van der Meyde in my new assistant manager. Sticking with the 4-4-2 formation. Going on holiday until 27th Dec 2015. Think I'll take in some sights around Europe...
