In relation to the match engine updates - are they gonna apologise to the people who have dropped points because of the mistakes that now seem to be nothing to do with match tactics? I could easily have had the league wrapped up by now.

Got it working for one game - thought I had cracked it, then Raith Rovers seemed to be too much hassle.

But surely if all I want them to do is stay wide and hold their position, that shouldn't be a problem? I mean, there's an instruction to stay wide so they shouldn't have to be running out wide to meet their man. There might be something to the stopper theory, but if a long ball comes forward...

Don't know if there's been an update - I rarely pay much attention to these things - but I'm noticing a lot more wayward passing in the game recently. And if I though that 'fewer risky passes' as a player instruction would make a difference then I was unsurprisingly wrong.

Do you use them with or without closing down? I've tried using tackle harder and removing closing down as a team and opposition instruction before but that led to a flurry of cards and free kicks against.

Is there any point in setting this as a team/opposition instruction? Even when they do it, they make no effort to win the ball - all they do is protect the attacking player from being tackled by someone else. I have tried all variations of close down/tackle harder/ease off tackles but am yet to...
