4-3-3 Beautiful football - Borussia Dortmund

I am glad it is doing its job for you mate. I am having similar success using it with Newcastle in Premier League. As for Kagawa, when I played with Dortmund I used him in this tactic as CM( A ) and retrained him to play as MC, he was one of the best players in my team. I couldn't find a place...

    paco alcacer or lacazette?

Paco Alcacer is awesome for me with Newcastle. He scored 13 goals in 15(7) games as lone striker.

    Counter Attack (newcastle) - 4231

Made an update to the counter attack tactic which works a lot better than previous versions. Whoever is interested please give it a try and tell me how it works. You can find it on the first page under Version 2. Here is the download link: Counter 4-Tweak_DB5FE7D9-0A78-4AFB-B905-E13575FFF4CF

    Defensive Tactics - HELP?

Hey guys, Does anyone have any success with a defensive tactic, with this I mean defensive - counter mentality? I observe that whenever I try to create a defensive tactic, the opponents get more CCC's and HC's than if I play more aggressively. Most of these chances come from defensive corners...

    Counter

I totally agree with this! I am myself trying to create a counter attack tactic (and I mean a pure counter attack, not high pressure). I have also found that if you use Counter combined with drop deeper, for some reason you will concede lots of goals. Personally I find that more aggressive...

    Bakestars Counter Att

Hey, I am also trying to set up a counter attack tactic and I have a couple of questions. 1) Why do you use push higher up instructions? I think for counter attack you want to drawn the opposition towards you, no? 2) Aren't your wingers AMR/AML caught offside too often and/or cross the ball from...

I don't think it matters for the tactic, but I use balanced(average).

    Counter Attack (newcastle) - 4231

I am still testing and tweaking, but I use a 4-2(DM)-3-1 formation. Counter attack, rigid. Team instructions: pass into space, whipped crosses, drop deeper, stick to position, close down less, lower tempo. I have misunderstood the tempo until now. After more readings, I've learned that the...

4-3-3 Beautiful football - Borussia Dortmund

I generally use fitness training for pre-season with some teamwork here and there. I do this for all tactics. During season I use attacking for easy games and defend for hard games, but it's not a rule.

I would say small, because you press aggressively and you want to leave as little space as possible behind your defenders.

    Counter Attack (newcastle) - 4231

Made some small adjustments. Finished the season. Here are the results. Here is the tactic breakdown. I used the http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/share-download-fm-15-tactics/181928-4-3-3-beautiful-football-borussia-dortmund.html in easy games, and this tactic in harder ones.

Reus was the best player the whole season as Inside Forward- Attack in this tactic. Sterling is one of the best right wingers in game. For the central midfielder-attack, I retrained Kagawa to play in CM and he did it excellently, so I believe Coutinho can do it as well. Give it a try!

4-3-3 Beautiful football - Borussia Dortmund

Hey, I'm currently playing with Newcastle and I have the same problem (conceding late goals). Are you sure that it's due to the tactic? Because in my case players just get too tired (under 60% in the final 10 minutes). This is why they can't keep the pace for 90 minutes. I suggest using take a...
