I would suggest getting an experienced right back on loan or on the cheap - Romario develops into a beast with the right approach, but he develops slowly from my experience, so you may want an experienced RB.

Chelsea signed Dzeko on a free in my save... I was annoyed to say the least. I did get Hamsik for 7m, one season in, though, which is pretty good. He was listed by request, got offered to me for 9.25m and because I'd just signed Hazard I put through a 7m non-negotiable bid and it god accepted :)

I've got some great regens in my current save. I got everyone except "Godly" Godwin from my youth academy last time. I think Godwin is the best regen I've ever got, I could play him just about anywhere, I think.

I'm using this tactic and it every game my assman tells me that there's a lot of space in between midfield and defense - and good teams look like exploiting that. Anyone know how I could fix this?

Considering you have strength in midfield, I'd be tempted to put Bale at left back, so you can get Huddlestone or Modric in there. I would probably play a one-striker formation with Spurs, but since you've invested a lot in Hulk and Sanogo you may not want to.Consider this formation...
