I think you are quite right about all the partnerships. I would say Milan plays quite slow Short passing game, and mostly through the middle of the pitch even though when seedorf plays CML he often drifts wide.

I would still have them in my u18 team but make the best of them available for the reserv team aswell

I think it could work even though I don't like o have two roles the same next to each other (it only gives you 1 dimension in game instead of 2). But if you tweak the roles so one of them is a bit more aggressive I think it should work fine.

I've only tried the defensive winger, but it wasn't any good for me. I think that the tactic setup for the team needs to be right for the role to work

for AML I'm not really sure, but inside forward should be the best. ST: for me he was immense as advanced forward, scored 1.13 goal/game in avarage .
