Is having a defined playmaker (advanced, deep lying, roaming) necessary in a team? Or can tactics work perfectly fine with a combination of CM's and DM's? Every tactic I use without a playmaker dont seem to be as effective as ones that I do. Cheers guys.

Example Januzaj is a default CAM but an absolutely godly right inside forward on attack. I've found Depay to be brilliant as a false 9, De Bruyne is insane as a right winger on attack. Anybody else found any?

A structured team shape, but with "be more expressive" ticked, would it cause the team to become less structured, or would it just allow more freedom in certain situations? Or would it override the shape? Thanks guys

Noticing this year a lot of people using Inside Forwards on support as opposed to on attack, has there been some under the hood changes on the support mode? I remember last year everyone used to use two IF-a's and reap the benefits...?

Been trying to create one recently but not going to well, anyone else have a version of it? Dribbling, pass into spaces, swapping positions, Messi's weird role, possession, pressing, I think it's a team oriented tactic but I may be looking at it wrong.

So I run a tactic with a midfield three of an anchor man, box to box midfielder and advanced playmaker, I've got the anchor man and advanced playmaker sorted, but can't decide on who would be the best box to box midfielder to buy. I'm in my second season on the game with a pretty massive...

Anyone have one in a Munich or ManUtd style? I've got a 4-3-3 possession tactic working, but even then it dosent have that lethal edge at all. Was hoping someones managed to make a 4-2-3-1 that does. Cheers.

No fund restrictions, need a false 9 in a control tactic. Been looking at Barbosa and Malcom mostly, I know Zivkovic is popular but unsure if he could play false 9 well, but between Barbosa and Malcom, people seem to have better results from Malcom...?

Looking for a 4-3-3 tactic with CM's/DM's, instead of playmakers and what not, hopefully an attacking type tactic, just can't seem to get anything to "click" in this regard. Only success I've had at 4-3-3 is with DLP/RP/AP, and AM/BTB/AP type set ups, but really hoping to get something like...

The only things I can think of is "high defensive line", "close down more", and possibly "retain possession" but that stops a lot of goal scoring opportunities. Has anybody else developed a counter-press tactic? Ideally 4-3-3/4-1-2-2-1.

I was wondering if anybody had a United based tactic on what LVG seems to be using so far? I think Morgan is in a BWM role, a Shadow Striker in behind the main striker, Mata has a weird role, but I was wondering if anyone has managed to make a decent variant?
