started my season with a basic 433 but was losing points in the last minute of the game. changed to this formation whilst in a relegation battle after 10 games and ended up gaining a europa league spot by the end of the season. Trying for a second season and now undefeated in europe and in a close battle for top 4.
The 3 centre backs allow for a worst case one on one on a breakaway but almost every time my defenders will stop their counter, our 4 in midfield and an attacking midfielder means we dominate possession and can keep a solid line high up the pitch, and attacking wise the strikers have support from each other an attacking midfielder and wide midfielders so there is a wide variety of attacks that is guaranteed to break down any defence. Out of possession because we have so many players up top we can easily press and make it impossible to play out from the back.
