I saw the style of asymmetrical tactics somewhere once and then adapted it to my players at Eintracht Frankfurt. I have been using it in my save since 2023/24 (now i am in 01/2026). Since then, I have won the CL twice and have been Bundesliga champion once. I am unbeaten in the CL for 30 games now and my record overall without defeat with this tactic was 43 games (in League and CL).
The tactics is based on a 4-2-2-2, but in my system I have built it asymmetrically so that I can use the full strengths of my squad. The right winger tries to get a lot of crosses to the two strikers. The leftback plays a very offensive role.
The left midfielder takes on a defensive role so that he can protect the left defender. The right midfielder can play as an 8 or 10. However, the right midfielder can play as an attacker or a supporter, depending on the type of player.
Suggestions:
- Play a right winger with good crossing skills.
- Play a left defender with a lot of stamina and pace.
