Hello! i recently got inspired in trying to create a simple but effective tactic with very few player instructions. I decided to test in the lowest league with the worst team in england , Blyth Spartans. Predicted to finish dead last as we are one of the semi professional teams among quite a few professional ones. I also only added corner instructions for this one, as I mainly wanted to see how the tactic can perform on its own. This is why i simply set up the tactic and then went on holiday until the season was finished. So no transfers or tweaks during games. Also no OI's, and trainings left to *** man. I tried to make a very versatile tactic which can be used for both underdogs and top teams. You have many goalscoring threats with this, as I got 14+ goals on all my front 4 players. I have made exensive testing regarding preferred foot on the 2 IW's , and there is not a very big difference, both works. Also I managed to pick team with DLP who has 'Plays shorter passes' trait, which i didnt see until end of season but as you can see it still worked (but avoid this if you can) If you want a more defensive team , i would suggest changing the DLP to regular CM or similar, i would not change any of the lines, as the 4-2-3-1 is a 'top heavy' system, which the higher lines will benefit from the most. This tactic was mainly aimed at being viable for lower level teams, this is why i avoided any "complicated" roles (for example you could change DLF to CF with a better team)
*TAKE OFF OFFSIDE TRAP IF YOU ARE NOT A TOP TEAM IN A TOP LEAGUE*
I also did "ultimate" underdog test with Fulham, once again no transfers or anything, only holiday. Abit unlucky only finishing 6th looking at the points. (lost the FA cup final vs Liverpool 4-3)
Lastly, I tried with a top team like Man Utd still on holiday no transfers, we won the treble in the end scoring 98 goals.
