532 - Gegenpress - Avian Gecko FM21 - 2

First attempt at a tactic of my own. New to FM and just looking for some feedback on how to improve this tactic. I should note the description I am about to give is based upon three-quarters of a season of use.

Attack:

Ideally, this tactic should maintain more possession than the opponent (generally between 57 and 68 in the matches I've used it in so far). The build-up tends to be quite slow until the ball is established in the midfield and then it is often played in behind for either wingback or the advanced forward. From here the ball is either knocked around the box for a bit or crossed early. There seems to be no in between.

Defence:
The extremely urgent pressing tends to mean the opposition punts the ball up the pitch a lot which the centrebacks (the outside two I have on play wider to help with this) either take it down or win headers against the opposition forwards. To avoid counter attacks one of the centre backs is a stopper, and this combined with the deep-lying playmaker seems to do an alright job at picking up the forward who generally sits in the space behind the midfield but in front of the defence when we have the ball.

Player instructions
As stated I have the two outside centrebacks on stay wider. I also tend to have the deep-lying playmaker on hold position. The carrilero's are both on get further forward to help around the box. Anything else is down to the players available.

Feedback is appreciated as I'd like to know how to improve this tactic and my tactic making generally.
