Hey everyone!
My name is Tiago and im a software engineer, i made this mainly to play but here you have it if you like it this is a complete overhaul of the entire Colombian football pyramid for Football Manager 26, built from scratch in the Pre-Game Editor.
This isn't a cosmetic update or a small tweak — it's a full database rebuild. Four professional divisions, two complete academy systems (U23 and U18), a 360-team regional pro layer, and a brand-new flagship cup with youth versions, all wrapped in custom squad, registration, discipline, loan, contract and transfer rules. If you love deep, realistic league structures with split seasons and promotion/relegation battles, this one's for you, also if you're looking for a very long season and a country where to send players to develop, this is the one.
I made Colombia extremely rich in the process.

What's inside​

Everything is custom-built:

• 4 senior divisions — 24 / 24 / 48 / 72 teams
• 4 U23 divisions and 4 U18 divisions (mirrored pyramids)
• Minor Leagues — 360 teams which 9 of them get to be promoted to 4th every season
• Copa de la Federación — a brand-new 128-team domestic cup
• Copa de la Federación U23 — youth cup
• Full squad, registration, discipline, loan, contract and transfer rules
• I used a version of Colombia from a dev here but mainly because i needed the clubs

The League System — how it works​

Every senior division uses a split (Apertura-style) format: a full regular season, then the table splits into a title group and a relegation group. Promotion and relegation runs continuously from the bottom of the Minor Leagues all the way up to the top flight.

Primera A — 24 teams​

The top flight plays a 46-match double round-robin. Then the table splits: the top 12 fight for the title, the bottom 12 fight to stay up 22 matchs.

• Title Group (12 teams): double round-robin, the winner is crowned champion and qualifies for the continental cups (Libertadores / Sudamericana). Every team gets a 4,500,000 appearance fee, and the champion takes home 40,000,000, scaling down to 12,000,000 for 12th.
• Relegation Group (12 teams): the bottom 4 drop to Primera B, with prize money from 15,000,000 (1st) down to 4,000,000 (12th).

Primera B — 24 teams​

Same split format as the top flight. Top 4 go up to Primera A, bottom 4 drop to Primera C. Title group pays 15,000,000 (1st) → 4,000,000 (12th); relegation group 8,000,000 (1st) → 3,500,000.

Primera C — 48 teams​

This is where it gets bigger — two groups of 24. The top 6 of each group (12) advance to the title group, the bottom 18 of each group (36) go to the relegation groups (3 groups of 12).

• Title Group: top 4 promoted to Primera B (7,500,000 → 2,500,000).
• Relegation Groups: 6 teams relegated to Primera D (4,000,000 → 1,400,000).

Primera D — 72 teams​

Three groups of 24. Top 4 of each group (12) → title group, bottom 20 of each group (60) → relegation groups (3 × 20).

• Title Group: top 6 promoted to Primera C (2,500,000 → 450,000).
• Relegation Groups: 9 teams relegated to the Minor Leagues (600,000 → 250,000).

Academy Pyramids — U23 & U18​

The youth setup mirrors the senior game at every level (24 / 24 / 48 / 72), running its own split format and promotion/relegation in parallel.

Youth money scales down realistically: U23 D1 title group pays up to 7,500,000, U18 D4 up to 10,000,000 for the champion.
This is something that i really enjoy because there are not so many countries with promotion on the youth levels.

The Cups​

Copa de la Federación — the new main domestic cup​

128 teams from all four professional divisions, seeded into four bands by division level.

• Group stage: 16 groups × 8 teams, seeded, with matchdays on Tue / Thu / Sun at 12:00. Win 100,000, draw 80,000, defeat 50,000, plus a 1,500,000 appearance fee. The top 2 of each group (32) advance.
• Knockout: single-leg, extra time + penalties, all the way to the final. The winner qualifies as champions for the Copa Libertadores.

Copa de la Federación U23​

Same 128-team format for the U23s. KO prizes from 100,000 (R32) up to 1,000,000 for the winner of the final.

Squad & Registration Rules​

Realistic depth here — each division has its own restrictions:

• Primera A & B: max 10 foreigners in the squad, max 4 U23s in the squad (this is to make the U23 league mandatory for all teams), min 1 U23 in the match squad, max 5 loans in the match squad. U18s are always eligible.
• Primera C: max 10 foreigners, max 8 loans in the match squad.
• Primera D: max 10 foreigners, max 8 loans in the match squad.
• U23 (reserve): max 4 foreigners (squad & match), max 2 over-23s (so you can show those who don't play and want to sell), no U18s.
• U18: max 2 over-18s (squad & match), no foreigners, no over-23s, trialists allowed.
• Copa de la Federación: max 4 foreigners in the match squad, min 6 U23s.

Squad numbers are used in all senior divisions, with free transfers registrable and long-term injured players replaceable.

Loans, Contracts & Transfers​

• Loans can expire at 12 months, end of season, end of next season, or the next transfer window (all players).
• Contracts: minimum 2 years of contract for players under 38, maximum 3 years.
• Transfers: free transfers can join at any time; no foreign staff in Primera B/C/D; a 300,000 fee per foreigner transfer is charged upon transfer.

Continental Qualification​

• Primera A (league stage) feeds the Libertadores / Sudamericana seeds.
• Copa de la Federación winner qualifies as champions.

I play this with a modified version of the CONMEBOL Conference, i will upload it too.
Basically 1 to 3 is Libertadores, 4 to 6 is Sudamericana and 7 to 9 is Conference.
With the Conference file i also made a big upgrade on the money for CONMEBOL teams.
I also play with a modified version of the Club World Cup from someone from here. I basically deleted all countries i was not interested in and modified the money and the dates. Basically, it’s a much better World Cup now.

Season Calendar​

• Season: 11 Jan → 14 Dec 2025
• Transfer windows: 9 Jan–9 Mar and 15 Jul–20 Aug
• Newgen intake: 27 Jan (±7 days)

As i said, this is a very long season: no holidays, no breaks, and there are matches sometimes one day after the other. I recommend you play in the Premier League for many years first so you understand the basics of squad rotation and player attributes.

Errors found until now​

Verifying this editor data takes ages, so fixing errors is a little hard.
Currently you can't play with Deportivo Pereira. I genuinely don't know why.
