The worlds of Pokémon and football have been merged together. Every major football club and well known player no longer exist, top tier football has been monopolized by the Kanto Region. 8 teams battle it out each year to win the Kanto League & attempt to qualify for the most prestigious competition in world football, the Indigo League.
The world's greatest player Mewtwo, is tied down to a lifetime contract & plays for the worlds biggest and richest club, Team Rocket. Can one of the other 7 teams overcome the challenge and become the Kanto League champion?
