This is a tactic I've used in a couple of saves with great success.
I created it at Valencia to try and get the best out of Jose Gaya - he won 2 player of the year awards in a row getting 20+ assists using this tactic. We came 3rd first season without any signings then won the league in the 2nd season and went deep in the CL.
I then used it with FC Andorra and won La Liga 2 immediately and am now up at the top of La Liga with just a few free transfers / loans so it seems good for underdogs as well.
I like to keep things simple so there are minimal TI's and only a few PI's.
