Has anyone manged to create this role successfully on fm 2011 ?
 
Depends what you class a 'modern centre half' as, they're all different. Be more specific and someone may be able to help you/point you in the right direction.
 
wat do you mean? quick, strong, can head, can tackle what?
 
no he is talking about the role busquets plays for barcelona.

its a term zonal marking used to describe Sergio Busquets role for spain and barcelona
 
For people who need info on what i'm talking about

As is customary after a Spain or Barcelona success, the performance of Sergio Busquets (two La Ligas, a Champions League and a World Cup after two seasons of professional football) has largely been ignored.

In the World Cup final he was one of the key players for Spain – keeping Wesley Sneijder quiet, providing his usual solid, reliable passing from a deep midfield position, and dropping between his centre-backs to turn Spain’s 4-2-3-1 into something more like a 3-3-3-1 or 3-4-3 when in possession.

Its pretty much impossible to achieve this in FM, I think I even wrote an article on the matter, search my threads if u want to read :)

LG Fire seems to have done it. It couldnt be done in FM10, which is when you wrote the article (a very good one too) IIRC
 
Mike, LG Fire's tactic doesn't achieve it,
in fact, that tactic is really very basic and he hasn't done a lot with it.
but, i won't rant.

no, the current ME won't allow a 'modern centre-half' to be created
 
Sorry about the misunderstanding there. I'll have a browse to see if I can find anything.
 
Because to me it sounds such a simply role the dm drops in deep to form a back 3 which allows fullbacks to get forward

idk, people tell me LGFIRE cant achieve it, honestly there is no way u can replicate Barca Tactics authentiacally in FM11 unless we get more options

I think this would work though haven't tried it.
