10.3 Patch Unplayable?

Ive just downloaded the latest patch for FM and managed Yeovil. But I cannot sign any one, full stop and Im just being spanked constantly playing a 4-5-1 tactic (4-1-2-2-1). I even got beat 4-0 in a friendly with Gateshead! Ive played 10 games and Ive been beaten by 2 clear goals every game. Its just weird that I can get Yeovil into the playoffs first season on the unpatched version and cant get a point in 10 games on the .3 update.

Has anyone else had this experience? Any tips?

ive personally found this update easier to play, you just need to make sure your players are in their right roles etc. also you could download some tactics from here? some people have already uploaded decent tactics to help you in lower leagues

i have downloaded the 10.3.0 patch and now i cant get on the game, it comes up saying that football manager 10.0.0 has stoped working can any one help?
