All you do basically is sign up. You get a starters credits, with which you can do numerous things with.
Most importantly you can create a player and assign skill point to that player that you are given. You can then assign skill points you are given each day to make your player better. The idea is to get your player signed to one of the numerous CPU teams, or if you can get him signed to a real team, owned by another player of the site.
You can use the credits you have left to boost your players (up to twice a season) to recieve bonus attribute points to assign or create other players. There is no restriction on amount of players you can have. Of course if you want to make too many players or require boosting all your players each season you may need to buy credits, but thats up to each individual.
You can even own your own team if you like when you get into it and name it what you want and find other gamers to play their players on your team.
