won league semi champs final cup and have 15 million to strenthen full back areas, a rb youngster/rotation for piszscek and a young competetion for the lb, obvioulsy prefer german but dont really care, also looking at selling lewangoalski as he wont sign so will need replacement for him (equal or less to his value)

thanks for any help

ps: i probably should know this stuff but its my first fm save this year and its defo harder

haha call him it alot great on fifa and scored loads last season (fm) so really annoyed i cant keep him

So, on a slightly more serious note, what exactly are you after? 2 players who can slot in at a push, 1 left back 1 right back but who will improve or do you need replacement right now? How is the money situation? Any spare pennies?

15 mil for both prefer young players need lb be good enough for first team really needs to be competitive solid at back and going forward to be at least competent
rb a bit more of a pure back up with a view to eventually replace piszscek but piszscek will still be no1

could push budget up a bit but not much more unfortunately

OK, sticking to Germans.... not an expert on Budesligue (see, I can't even spell it)

Let's be honest, for £15M, you're not going to get your Philipp Lahm's....

Sorry, took so long. Sent scouts to Germany looking for wingbacks in 2013 / 2014 save on budget. By no means comprehensive but have a look...

Robert Huth
Christian Trasch
Marcel Schmeizer
Dennis Diekmeier
Sebastian Jung
Julian Koch
Manuel Schmiedebach
Jerome Boateng
Gonzalo Castro (joint German nationality)

german was more just a bonus not a necessity if i need more i suppose i could use reus at st and spend less on replacement
lb most inportant

LB then.

Give me a few mins. But again, you won't get even close to world class for, let's say, £10M.

Now on a mission.........:)

LB - scout Kwadwo Asamoah. Best I can think of but will take up most of your budget.

Dieter Hei is a superstar in the making as left back - scout him. 4.5/5 star I would guess - he is on my save in that year - not a re-gen.

Piszczek is an immense player, barring injury, you won't need to replace him for a while. If you want cover, try for Maicon from Man City, getting on a bit and wages will cost you a fortune but should be able to snap him up for about £5M.

Consider Jan Vertonghen as well for LB.

Frank Babatunde (Nigerian) plays for Kano Pillars will only be 17 but is my top-tip if you have him in your database.

LB/RB: Lucas Digne + Vrsaljko would cost you around 15 mil if you use instalments. N. Clyne is usually free second season so with these three you are covered for life!

Cheaper options: Kiko Femenia/Laurens De Bock

Just an aside, I'm not trying to be rude after you spent a while searching for these players, but unless he was sold in your game, Schmelzer plays for Dortmund.

In my second season with Dortmund I got Corchia for £10m and Ostrzolek for £4.3m, though I still used Schmelzer as first choice. Oh and I also sold Lewandowski, replacing him with Jovetic.

Schennikov/Peruzzi
Fabio/Rafael
Aymen Abdennour/Corchia
Cristico/Anyukov
Arouca (retrained as RB, only takes a few weeks)
