Has anyone used two Box-to-Box midfielders in the same tactic? if so, does it work?

I will be playing with a flat 3 in center midfield, the idea is this:
BBM (support) CM (defend) BBM (support)

Well I don't see why that won't work. But have you any playmaker(s)? Cause who are going to create goals for your team.

Why can't it work? As always, it will depend on the overall setup rather than just 3 roles.

Would it work for this?

--------------CF(atk)

---------AP(atk)--AM(sup)

--------BBM--CD(def)--BBM

WB(sup)-CD(def)-CD(def)-FB(sup)

I don't see how or why you'd want 2x B2B midfielders in that setup? There are already 3 players ahead of them.

I can see how that would perhaps work given the right squad/ formation. But personally I would use a deep lying playmaker and wingers. Then maybe a false 9.

This is the formation I'm going to use that suits the players I have... however could anyone advise on tweaking any of the players role/mentality?
