I have 2 midfilders, one is dl playmaker support and the other is box to box.Can I have some good result playing them like this ? I've tried few tipes playing like this but it seems to me its just to open style of play.Eny experiences?

What formation do you play? What type of football do you play? What do you try to achive? Their roles depend on this. Everything can work, better or worse, but you have to know what do you want achive and how do you wanna play.

I like to play atacking football ,but it seeems to me that when i set their roles like dlpm support and other btb (support) defence is too vulnerable...

I tried but when i have real technicaly gifted dlpm i think I waste him in dlpm defend role ...?

Yes, but in what formation. It is different for 4-2-3-1 formation and 4-4-2 formation. Your wingers will be more active in defence, so your need for more defensive roles are less needed. In 4-2-3-1 formation, your wingers will be more offensive and prone to neglecticng their defensive duties.

Also, do you use hassle opponent or not, do you push up your defence or not. Do you play short passing game or direct game. If you play short passing/possesion game, then DLP is good choice. If you play direct game, then DLP is not good choice, since he will be often "out of play" so it would be more appropriate to set him on some other duty.

Put screen of your tactic here so we could give you some advice. Otherwise, it is imposablle to give you good advice.

And DLP - def is not bad for technicly gifted player if you know how to utilize him.

Xabi Alonso is a DLP - def at Madrid. Is he being wasted ?
No matter what formation or type of football you want to play you absolutely need a holding midfielder if you don't want to concede a lot. And DLP - def is possibly the most ambitious of the holding roles. What's more it also should work very well with an energetic box to box alongside.

Now it is more clear. You have four attacking minded players and only 3 defensive minded. This is making a disbalance in your squad. Wiht DLP - sup you give your DLP permission to push higher up.You also give your permision to BWM to chase donw the field in order to win the ball. You also give your Treq permision not to be involved in defensive work, although you asked your team to hassle opponent.

So situation is that you give up your central part of midfield to opponent, with pushed up wingers and pushed up fb-s you give him wings also, and this is defended only with two players in CB position. It is no supprice that your defence is leaking. And it is not only problem of your two CM-s but it is problem that you do not have any balance in your squad whatsoever.

First, I would suggest to change Treq role of your AMC into something else (SS seems most appropriate). Then, since you do not have any golascoring treath from deep, i would suggest to give your AML role INF - attack. Now, to balance this, put your FBL to support duty, and on rigth side, either your fb or AMR give support duty. Here, I would go wiht AMR on support duty

Now regarding your CMS. You can either give your DLP def duty or your BWM. From my point of view, since bwm is more aggressive role and more running, less creative role, then he would be support duty in my choice, since it fits good with your other instructions (high pressure up field). DLP as role is better in passes cuting, so I would give him def role. Also, in this situation there is one more upside - your DLP will be more often then not bee free for passes and have space to create something.

This way you will be more stabel at back.
