2014 World Cup thread

I wanted to sleep because I've got work early morning tmr, but what the heck. **** sleeping, watching Brazil being destroyed is once in a lifetime thing.

As i said after goal number 1, "Brazil will have to push forward and Germany will pick them off on the break". Even though i said that i never expected it to this scale! If Germany manage to win this World Cup then it will be one of the best achievements in World Cup history. Played all 3 group games in the north of the country where the weather is insanely hot, then went to the south of the country where majority of their squad got flu and despite that beat France and now this! Don't expect many more goals from them though, all they need to do is pass the ball about and manage their fitness for the final on Sunday. As i said when England went out, the FA need to look at the German model and when i say look at them i don't mean their ******* B league!!!! What a World Cup!

So now you think this world cup is not boring. ;)

It seems to me as they relied everything on one man - Neymar. When he got injured and Silva got suspended it was almost a nation completely giving up when Germany scored their first goal

I mean, fans were crying when it was 1-0 and the players look worse than amateur footballers. It just has to be better as professional's

This has shown all the deficiencies of this Brazilian side and a lot of this has stemmed from the the direction they went in with youth recruitment a few years back and they just don't produce the ball playing midfielders that they used too and I don't just mean the competent in possession players I mean genuine world class midfield players like the Germans have like Kroos. This is why whenever a young player burst on to the scene he is lauded in brazil but they never seem to work out most recent case is probably Ganso off the top of my head. A similar thing happened with Adryan bursts into the flamengo first team gets dubbed the new zico then just disappears. It's funny because before scolari got the job there was a massive outcry in the Brazilian media to get Pep to get them playing the Samba style again but I'm just not sure they have the players.

As a brazilian im just feeling shame(obviously). Scolari is and old coach with old ideas. Its just satisfying to see the techinical football winning the force football. Cant believe that we are aknow as the country of the football. Horibe football. Congrats germany.PS: Germany tshirt is PRETTY. iST BASED ON MY FAVORITE TEAM, Flamengo. Come on Germany

U said everything. U understand alot about brazilian football . Are u brazilian anyway. Cheers

That Nike advert where players' individual mistakes are ruthlessly punished by an unfeeling team of bastards is looking rather prophetic.

No I am not a Brazilian but I spent a year in brazil watching football a few years back was one of the best experiences of my life, I follow Brazilian football a lot there are more issues than what I said as well like agents buying stakes in young players among other things. It just ****** me off because I had such a great experience whilst I was there saw some young players who are pros today on there way up and made some amazing friends and feel like I have some kind of connection with Brazilian football if you get what I mean

I guess you could say that Neymar really WAS the backbone of this Brazilian side.

To be honest, Scolari deserves this humiliation especially after the way he set the team out to play against Colombia. Will definitely get the sack now

I am so hard right now.

How long is it before I have to go see a doctor? Might be some time with this match.

tty nice mate. Its pretty nice to see that exists peolple from ohter country that watch brazilian football and its pretty sad to see brazilian football situation

From the very start Brazil was carried by ref sanctioned constant fouls and diving. Once that was gone they didn't even bother to show up.

Well mate i think that this wasnt the only reason because tactilly Brazil is more than poor.

That was the most unbelievable first half of football ive seen since Boro took a 3-0 first half lead at Manchester UTD back in 1998.
