Photoshop can prove anything with stills.

But this GIF is as clear as it gets.

I don't know what you're talking about OH MY GOD CHIELLINI GOT SAVAGED BY A LION

Considering that his last ban was for 10 games ... I really doubt FIFA can just give him something pathetic like a 5 game international ban. This might very well be the case that they throw the book at him especially since it's also the second time his deceitful ways has got his country through to the next round of a World Cup

Also he got away without any ban when he punched some Chilean(?) player during qualifiers.

Wish we still had players like Keane, Gattuso, Vieira to sort players like him.

imagine if he did that to Keane, I reckon Keane would end up with a longer ban after his reaction ;)

In a postgame interview with Uruguay’s Channel 10, Suarez said: “These are just things that happen out on the pitch. It was just the two of us inside the area and he bumped into me with his shoulder, and that’s how my eye got like this as well.
“There are things that happen on the pitch and you should not make such a big deal out of them.”

I think he is forgetting a major part of his actions on the pitch.

Its pretty shameful the way some people such as the Uruguayan media have come out in support of him. It's time football turned it's back on Suarez. Only way he will learn

I think that is slightly unfair on Uruguay, them getting through was nothing to do with Suarez's actions this time

If anything it was a man who should have been sent off in the previous match

No defending Suarez but the Daily Mirror putting a photoshopped picture on their back page is embarrassing. It is not exactly like they need to make the situation worse

They blamed English media for making this news and for some weird reason brought 1966 world cup goal into the equation. Whole country is deluded when you hear the players and manager's interview.

No harm in having some fun just like you find a section in Telegraph and Guardian for funny pics.

Not really, it's false and is a back page lead not some section for funny pictures

I see nothing wrong here. Some papers have funny section, Daily mail thought it's worth backapge.

Third time he has done it and it would be great if all the papers started printing it on backpages.

No surprise there then

Exactly just like there was no surprise Suarez bit some player.

All this "he needs professional help" is just a sorry excuse to defend him after making the same mistake again and again and that is ignoring other cuntish actions.

Im not defending him, it's nothing to do with that. It is the fact as to why a national paper needs to lie to make a situation worse when there is no need. The evidence says it all

But of course, you wont agree and you'd want every paper to lie to make everything look worse

If Suarez did that to Keane or one of Keane's teammates, I'd actually have been worried for his career. Seriously.

Can't agree with this. The Telegraph or Guardian have a section for funny pictures that are labelled as such and are very clearly spoofs. The Daily Mail put on their back page a craftily doctored image that wasn't clearly labelled as fake (if indeed it was at all, I'm not sure of that specific). Simply put, that's borderline illegal for a reason. That's the kind of behaviour that gives journalists a bad name.

Not sure if I missed something here as I checked daily mail pics and the headline clearly says "[h=2]Suarez virals: Plenty to chew on here as fans poke fun at his latest controversy"[/h]
So I'm really not sure if I missed something. And I didn't say I want every paper to post fake pictures to make matter worse, just that I don't mind them posting the funny pics on backpages.

Is he safe to be around his children... I mean... seriously?

Good night darling, I love you *nom nom*

Back page: Like GC said, this is the reason journalists have a bad name

Essentially, theres a law against that. I can't quite remember what it's called - and I should because I learnt it only a couple of months ago - but essentially it's protecting people from prejudice, because planting a giant doctored image on your front/back page with a big headline about it and a tiny explanatory comment below can be massively damaging to someone's reputation if the person who sees it doesn't read the paper and instead just catches a glance. And it's a good law; my dad knows hardly anything about football, but he does pick up bits and pieces. He'd be exactly the kind of person to notice the headline and picture but not be bothered to look at the context. And that's why this kind of behaviour shouldn't be - and generally isn't - allowed. Wouldn't be surprised if DM get investigated for this.

Another newspaper Liverpool fans will boycott reading now because they say something negative about LFC.
