Bayern couldn't beat any decent opposition without the help of mandzucic(vs manu) and Robben (vs arsenal). Plus bayern have Alaba as lb. Germany need to play Lahm as a fb, And start attacking with pace.
 
I expected an inspired algeria what with Ramadan and the whole 1982 conspiracy thing but they are playing out their skins!!!!!!
 
Unless there's a late goal it's looking likely this one's going to penalties as well. I don't know who I'd pick to win the shoot out, but the Algerian players have done their country proud.
 
So in three matches over 90 minutes Algeria have never lost to Germany. Not many other teams have that record.
 
Algeria have been superb, this tournament has been highlighted by many teams filled with so called average players playing great together as a well executed team. (Take note Roy Hodgson and England)
 
It's just amazing how you can make the best out of whatever player you got if manager and players know what they are doing. Algeria hardly have any big players but they are giving Germany all sort of problems.
 
That goal didn't look intentional at all, looked more like a fluke..
 
Ozil is such a terrible player. He just seems to be sulking and putting in zero effort every time I watch him.

True, he is very frustrating to watch at times but to say he's a terrible player is a bit harsh. Remember him in 2010.

Ozil was arguably in the bracket behind Messi and Ronaldo for many years before his move to Arsenal. No doubting for me he will find that form again this season

Ok maybe a little OTT, but you can have all the technique in the world, but if you dont have the mentality, its pretty useless.

Man, big teams are really **** poor this year. The ones still left in the tournament so far managed to progress to 1/4 phase, but most games have been really close.
 
Ffs Germany! I predicted 2-0 at work to Germany, but its the result at FT that counts, not extra time. So ****** off about that!
