2014 World Cup thread

Fair play to Costa Rica, you don't have to have individual world-class players throughout to be a great team... Holland and these have proved this.

Wondering if Suarez cried. Well done Costa Rica, well played, tactic spot on, Campbell MOTM for me, was outstanding and key to everything they did right.

Glad i cashed out with Uruguay winning or that would of hurt the wallet.

I actually hate ITV coverage like most... but I do think Gus Poyet is a good bloke.... we as England fans know how it feels and he does look noticeably upset.

Worst possible feeling having to remain neutral and analyse the game if you are genuinely a huge fan

To be honest, I would have sat Sterling and bring him on 2nd half when the old Italian legs would be getting tired and unleash him to tear whatever muscles they have left, they wouldn't know what hit them.

A friend is actually -80 euros betting on Uruguay winning. Lol.

Thats the gamble. I put 40 quid on Uruguay winning, they went 1-0 up looked good then Costa Rica started looking dangerous so i cashed out for 52 quid. Got to love cash out.

Italy V England has to be a nailed on draw now. Not only are they 2 of the most difficult teams to beat and evenly matched but there hasn't been a draw in the tournament yet. Law of averages.

Who the **** is Paletta, is he any good? And where is Bonucci.
