2014 World Cup thread

Thats the gamble. I put 40 quid on Uruguay winning, they went 1-0 up looked good then Costa Rica started looking dangerous so i cashed out for 52 quid. Got to love cash out.

Italy V England has to be a nailed on draw now. Not only are they 2 of the most difficult teams to beat and evenly matched but there hasn't been a draw in the tournament yet. Law of averages.

Did similar 20 on Colombia and Uruguay cashed out for 50 so glad I did now I've just bet with my heart and not my head 20 on England what have I done :(

I think the result of Costa Rica can be a pretty dire one. Uruguay has to win their next match to stay in the tournament and Costa Rica has the feeling they may have a little chance to progress to the next round now they have 3 points. Two very motivated teams.

If England score first cash out. Then money on an Italian equalizer.

Looking forward to properly seeing Verratti tonight. Seen him a few times at PSG, but it will be nice to properly see the FM Legend in action.

Why do the pundits on BBC talk so much sense and the ones on ITV so much bollocks!?

Some of the ITV pundits do. Ian Wright for example is just a prat. I like Cannavaro, Hoddle and Poyet on ITV though. Roy Keane will be missed too because he was good value and hated Chiles.

I think out of both channels seedorf is my favourite, anyone see that soccer aid game he has still got it ;)

Although Cannavaro seems like someone with a deep and complex understanding of the game, I do get the feeling that he struggles to express himself clearly in English.

Was hilarious how much he hated him!
