It would be better for Liverpool but you need a mix of experience and youth and as Gerrard is our best centre midfield player it would be better for England if he continued

But again, Hodgson need's to recognise his strengths and weakness, because being a ball winning CDM is not a strength!

Cahill and Jags have shown they lack experience this world cup. Both needed someone with experience next to them

I just think it's unfair to judge so quickly when Uruguay and Italy are better sides, carry more of an attacking threat and also Costa Rica rested a few players in this game
