I've not been impressed with Belgium at all in this tournament, so they'll probably go all the way.
DeAndre Yedelin.. Never heard of him before, but what a livewire. Fantastic performance from RB!
Ive not been impressed by many of the bigger sides but they seem to be all getting the results
If you take out the extra times, these last 16 games might be the most boring in World Cup history. 0-0 almost every first half, and the only game with more than 2 goals is the Holland game...
Sorry for being negative but I have to get this off my chest, what is the big deal with Tim Howard? Yes he made a record amount of saves but to me it was also a record number of easy saves! I hope someone might agree me or maybe im just harsh. He certainly played well but he still conceded 2 goals

If you think that all the last 16 games were exciting as ****, even though the favourites won every single one of them, the first time this had happened since World Cup became a 32-team format, then feel free to do so.Then you must of been watching a different World Cup if you thought the last 16 games were all boring. The only game that was poor was the Argentina win. The others although scoring was low were very fast flowing football. Plenty of goal mouth action.

Even the games weren't as exciting as they seem on paper. Brazil vs Chile were great during the first half, but the second half were so dull I couldn't even bring myself to finish it. Colombia vs Uruguay was good, until Colombia were happy with a 2-0 lead and started playing defense. The quality of play in Costa Rica vs Greece is simply not good enough. France vs Nigeria were a bit dull and predictable, Nigeria threatened a bit, but France never looked like losing the game at all. Germany vs Algeria left me hugely disappointed in the Germans as they are my favourites to win the World Cup. Argentina vs Switzerland is simply a snoozefest.
I am watching the games in the wee hours of the morning though (I live in Australia), that's why I might have different expectations, but I am allowed to have my own opinion too, right?
