My tactic may seem a little crazy at first but is working for me so far, I will post results once i complete the season. Surprising i dont concede many but score plently.
Here is my first team at present new signings in brackets due when january window opens
I use only 2 central defenders sat behind the DM's:
DCL - Defend - Agger
DCR Defend - Skertil
Then the next line I have
Wing Back left- Attack Dodo/Konchesky (Bale)
DM -Anchorman Poulsen
DM - Deep Player maker Support - Vidal
Wingback Right -Attack Johnson/Vrsaljko (Srna)
Next line I have
MC - Box to Box Midfielder - Support - Gerrard
Next line I have
AML - Advanced play maker - Attack - David Silva
AMR - Winger - Attack - Neymar
Next line I have
ST - Complete Forward Attack - Torres
I ask them to overlap on the wing from time to time and expose flanks etc. The only time I reduce attacking is when i'm playing a tough champion league sides in the away leg.
