25 EPL Squad Registration Problem

Firstly, I know all about the 25 man squad registration thing in the second season

My question can unregistered players, who are eligible to play (U21), be given a fixed squad number somehow. Its not to much of a problem, but the are assigned different numbers every game.

e.g. Jack Wilshere could be No. 13 one game, then 29 the next.

I know the numbers assigned are the next available unused number, i'm just looking for a way to get a permanent number for a player.

unregistered players get random numbers every game and the numbers will not be fixed. if you want him to have a fixed number, just register him in mid season or something

hmmm, not reallly what i was looking for, but thanks anyway, I don't think there's a way to fix the problem that ive got

I've got three players that misteriously can't be registered for the champion's league though i did register them for the second stage of the cup. Is there any way i can change that with and editor or something...?

FM 2010 Bugs Perhaps

i encounter similar problem to urs. during the 2nd registration windows (im playin in EPL which means the date is 1st February), i've fully registered my team and everyone above the age of 21 has been registered successfully. when im playin again villa on that day (1st Feb) all the registered players eligible to play. However on my next match vs Spurs (5th Feb, EPL match), suddenly one of my player i.e. Mbark Bussoufa was ineligible. appreciate any helps on this problem.

FYI, i've tried to do the followings but to no avail:
1. Reload the game and re-register my players.
2. worth noting when i submitted my complete list mbark boussafa was with his country to play Africa Cup of Nations.

It did answer your question, the only way a player can get given a permanent number is by being registered....

99% sure this is an FM thing, I hope they change it next year though.

It is a real thing, players must name a 25 man squad this season with atleast 8 HG players.
