If you wait they should get promoted back to 3Bundesliga at end of season. You could also see if you can find an lower league addon for Germany. Either way I think you will have to wait till the next season for them to have fixtures but you can could arrange friendlies.
In my Bayern save I made sure in the first couple of seasons that Bayern II had good enough players and managed them myself to keep them up. After a couple of years I had a good group of youngsters and a good manager and it took care of itself.
