The Trequartista is loved and very well used in Italian and I decided to create a formation using one.

I used the database created by Will1981, which is the Tactic Tested Database where he tests everyone tactic to show the people of FM Base which tactic is the best. He normally manages the team as its quicker. I just got my assistant manager to do it, because for me it takes longer to do manage it. FM11 Tactics Fully Tested
The Results
These were the results, I know some don't look great, but this is a tester with a lot of adventure, it's a long time till it becomes perfect to be fair.
Player Information
GK - Goalkeeper [Defend] - Someone who can basically play in goal.
DCL|DCR - Ball-Playing Defender [Cover] - An intelligent person on the ball but able to defend well also, similar to Rio Ferdinand in his prime.
Attributes Required: Marking, Tackling, Anticipation, Acceleration, Decisions, Pace, Passing and Creativity
DC - Centre Defend [Stopper] - Your John Terry type person. Get in there, but isn't too quick but make sure he gets the ball and clears it away.
Attributes Required: Tackling, Heading, Anticipation, Decisions and Positioning
ML|MR - Defensive Wingers [Attack] - Attacks when the team is attack and when defending creating a 5 man defence help defending the wings for the centre backs.
Attributes Required: Crossing, Dribbling, Tackling, Decisions, Work Rate, Pace and Stamina
MCL - Box To Box Midfielder [Support] - A Frank Lampard time person gets back to defend and helps out when attacking and arrive late in the box and scoring those goals for you.
Attributes Required: Marking, Passing, Tackling, Anticipation, Concentration, Decisions, Determination, Work Rate and Stamina
MCR - Ball Winning Midfielder [Support] - A fighter in the middle wins you the balls and helps counter attacking and trying to help keep possession for the team.
Attributes Required: Marking, Passing, Tackling, Aggression, Bravery, Concentration, Determination, Work Rate, Strength and Stamina
AMC - Trequartista [Attack] - The magician, creates chances out of nothing. Doesn't do much defensively, however makes it up with magical attacking play creating holes and getting into space and helping the strikers score.
Attributes Required: First Touch, Long Shots, Passing, Technique, Anticipation, Creativity, Decisions, Team Work, Work Rate, Agility, Pace and Stamina
STCL|STCR - Poacher [Attack] - Grabs you the goals that you need doesn't really get involved in play. Just your average goal scorer. (Can change to Advanced Forward if chances aren't being created)
Attributes Required: Dribbling, Finishing, First Touch, Anticipation, Composure, Off The Ball, Acceleration, Agility and Pace.
Match Preparation
For this, make sure the Defensive Positioning is High until the tactic is well Accomplished (or Fluid) to the players when this has been achieved. Then put it onto a low Attacking Movement. If you however, subsequently brought in a load of new players. You will be better of using Team Blend and set it on Very High till it has become Competent and then follow the procedure above however instead of Accomplished, Fluid.
Other
The pitch has to be standard size, vital that it is.
Opposition Marking:
Tight Marking on all wingers and strikers and tackle hard and closed down too.
