Hi,

Trying to create something along the lines of a 3-5-1-1 and defensively I have been quite solid.

What (in your opinion) is the best front 2.
I'm currently using a SS with DLF (S) - it seems to be working okay but I"m not scoring near enough.

There's no best two roles. It depends on the players and what suits them. Also depends on the system as a whole, rather than solely looking at the front two roles.

There's no reason that a DLF/S and SS/A can't work. In fact, it should make for a good combination, provided the rest of the setup fits as well.

I get a fair amount of goals with my 3-5-2, I have a Poacher and a Defensive forward defend, with the central player behind them with an attack duty, in my case a CM - hope this helps
