3 man midfield

I'm using a a flat 4-3-3 in pre season a roaming playmaker in the middle and 2 cm (d) either side of him only played 2 games so can't really say how it's going but one problem I do have is they all stand quite close together in the middle of the park is there a way to spread then out a bit

I've always wanted a "sit wider" option for central players as I've had similar frustrations. Setting Team Width to Wider will help but affects the whole of the team. Speaking of which I haven't tried switching to Wider with PIs "Sit Narrower" on winder players, that might work?????
