QUINTUPLE WITH BORO 2ND SEASON IN PREM!!!!!

Post #118 on pg 12 for analysis from robbie and my thoughts on how to improve

V2.0 has been uploaded, everything is the same but i have now got the marking
system included, so wingers mark wingers and the F9s mark opposition
full backs automatically. completely shuts the opposition down, and
from what i can tell doesnt hinder the attacking prolifity

!!no opposition instructions required all done in idividual instructions!!
!!! plug and play tactic, load in apply players and star winning games !!!
!!!!!! sell full backs/wing backs for funds to buy better players !!!!!!

before i start i apologise for the length of the article and the lack
of images, they are included as thumbnails along with the tactic DL
cant figure out how to get the images in the write up

i work on a statistics that i believe willwin a game of football not relying
on a single player to create or score everything because that can be stopped
by kicking them off the park!!!!, an example is creating scenarios where
your team have advantages whether that in physical numbers or making the
opposition play the long ball with pressure which your defenders are easily
to take control of the ball
(think of spurs this season, high pressing resorts the opposition to have
the ball played long which means they regain possession quicker than most
would if they allow opponents to play out from the back.)

hi guys this is my first upload this year due to personal circumstances and
this edition to my uploads is no different with unusual formations,
the actual shape is a 352 flat midfield as a disclaimer!!

rationale for title:
334 pepper - 334 is because the formations is broken down into a 3D, 3M and
4 attacing players, all playing different roles to the success of the
tactic which i will breakdown below so stay tuned.
PEPPER is for what i have coined as the PEPPER phase of play which is where
the tactic dominates opposition. again i will explain in full below.

the SS of the tactic, team instructions and set pieces are at the bottom!!!

the shape!!!
SK in goal freedom to play a counter long ball if the ball is on but will
play to the defenders 90% percent of the time indicated by my keeper having
i 96% pass completion rate.

the defenders - two set to defend and one stopper, simplicity is key here,
the stopper will attack the ball and the other 2 will drop in to form
a back 2 if the ball is missed or won by the attacker, works against
1 attacker formations the best and 2 ST is on par too!!!.
with the ball the defenders whilst in the PEPPER phase will be an last
resort option for the 3 CM to get them out of trouble and start the phase
again with the average for the season around 62% possession

the CMs - this is where the magic happens for the team!!!!!
the aformentioned PEPPER phase, right then, the 3 CMs will work very hard
to retain possession for your team, playing the ball sidways and forward
once the move via the forwards and WM has been made, and if the PEPPER
phase is taking too long they will have a burst into the channels forcing
the AI to make a decision which it really doesnt like doing, follow the man
they currently have or pick up the arrival of one of the BWM, either way
works for us because a man either inside or on the edge of the box will
become free for a shooting opportunity, and on average we have only
2 long shots in a whole match so i must be doing something right.
this set of 3 CMs are in a defnesive formation with 2 BWMs and 1 DLP on D
so defensively they act as another 3 man wall to break down with not much
space especially in the middle of the park with usually beign a 6 on 4 (max)
from our point of view, forcing the ball wide which is where the WMs come
into play, look at that a seamless transition into the wide players lol

the "wingers" their job is two fold, they are deep enough defensively
to block crosses from the opposition most of the time, which is key
seeing as there are no fullbacks with all the defnesive width being
provided via the denfenders, in an attacking sense they dont provide
the best width as i have them as a (and bare with me)
deep lying inside forward!!!, the WM are set to cut inside and sit
narrower and this works because on the pepper phase the will pull in and
out depending on the situation but are always going to be on the lookout
for that all important through ball from the CMs.

the "strikers" are there to tie everything up, both stretching the defence
by going wide and beyond the D-line but also dropping off to pick the ball
deep making very difficult to deal with from a defnesive standpoint,
if going shorter for the ball isnt working then they will split wide
enabling the WM the opportnity to overlap fora simple through ball
who would be at full pace with the defenders onlt just on the turn is a
simple CCC, and if that doesnt work they will sit on the last man looking
for the early through ball or just be a constant threat to the defenders
who cant switch off for a second as they will be punished.

the team instructions are at the bottom but are self explanitory,
slow tempo to help the PEPPER phase be more dominant with a higher line
so the defenders can challenge for the ball quicker as prevent GK dist
is also set so 90% of the time the ball is coming to the defenders
in the air.

ok so that is how the tactic works and plays, now i will give you my
reccomendation for best attributes for each player or just what i use.

GK - keep it simple, if he can save and catch a ball then your all good
here, the passes the makes generally are so simple that he can fail.

CB - the center of the 3 should be the tallest or have the highest
jumping reach stat, i prefer my defenders tall quick and great in the
tackle

CM - all 3 need great stamina and work rate, a prefer my DLP taller and
the BWMs quicker as they will be performing more short sprints to make
room to recieve the ball, creatively being able to pass a ball 10ft is
crutial and i tend to have my BWMs more creative than the DLP which
i know sounds strange but the DLP is their to move to the side and
support the WM if he is stuck out there and play it inside to one of the
BWMs.

WM - they are all action WMs, the quicker the better, the two main atts
for me personally is off the ball and anticipation the latter of the two
help in both attacking and defnesive phases. dribbling and first touch
are important because they will recieve the ball in some tight spaces and
their first touchcould be the difference between creating a chance or
losing the ball.

ST - these guys will do everything, i prefer my strikers tall (or good
in the air) great off the ball and anticipation, i have found that the
quicker strikers perform better than skillful ones such as my strikeforce
with zach clough (skillful) and afobe (quicker) with afobe scoring more
but clough with more assists last season but this i had Belotti up with
clough and he scored 53 goals in all comps, with clough getting 22 assists
but their PPMs might have something to do with that with clough preferring
to drop deeper and belotti preferring to attack more.
---one note i will make on the striker front is that complete forward type
players such as Belotti seem to have better performances than any other
striker type as i have the ultimate F9 in clough and afobe is designed as
an poacher/AF and belotti outscored both of them combined for the season

training:
preseason - have between 8 and 12 matches spaced 2-3 days apart,
have the tactic being learned on full to the left on the slider, have the
team training on team cohesion during preseason ensuring that the team
and the tactic gel together correctly,
full season - have the team train on defending set pieces with the slider
2 notches from the left and the team training attacking on very high is
what i do and seems to work.
individual training - train SK as a SK, the defenders train on BPD or if
they are slightly slow then train as a WB, as for the CMs i train all on
either BBM or RPM depending on their atts, so a more creative player will
be trained as a BBM and vise versa to enable the ultimate midfeilders,
good at everything great at limited things is the best apporach. the
WMs sould be trained as inside forwards if possible but if they need to be
retrained on the opposite wing then just a winger will do fine (right on
left and vise versa is best although not required). the strikers if they
are small like clough then no point having CF training as never win headers
easy method here, small train as either poacher or F9 depending on attr
if a target man type train as poacher and if a CF just keep going as a CF
what i tend to do is train all strikers as ACMs with the role shadow striker
as this has the best training set for what i want the striker to do, just
be constantly on the move into or creating space for others and being
comfortable in the AMC helps when in that area of the picth if they have
the bal if I have found.

i think that is everything...... thanks for baring with me i hope you
enjoyed the read and hope you enjoy the tactic as much as i have, 3CB
tactics seem too few and far between this year so hopefully this will
compensate for that.

any questions feel free to ask and enjoy
