After my success with Celtic and going undefeated for 25 games, I then decided to test this with my test parameters with Wolves (I always test tactics with Wolves, mid table championship team, tactics in all 3 slots at start of season, pick my best squad, go on holiday for full season and set AssMan to pick my current selection where possible and use same match tactics)
I still won the league with Wolves in the test and also got to the FA cup final (which no other tactic has done in my test) but the results were not as good as I have seen in other tactics I have tested. I still won the league but finished only on I think 85 points (2 points clear from 2nd place).
I also tested with Borussia Monch. and am getting mixed results. Sitting 3rd in my CL group, only won 2 games, 6th in the league. Not getting hammered by the big teams but against similar strength sides or weaker, I'm definitely not scoring as much as I was in my Celtic save. The biggest problem I am noticing with the BMG save is the defenders are not getting good ratings at all. With my Celtic save, they always performed well. Which is strange because the quality of the defenders with BMG is much higher. I'm also not getting as good performances from the 2 WMs - in my BMG save I am using attacking minded players who are natural WMs but with Celtic I used RB/LB/WB's converted to WMids and got much better results and much higher average ratings. The midfielders I'm playing, again not getting as good results but not as much of a difference. In my Celtic save, at least one midfielder is getting an 8.0 every game.
A good tactic but I think it requires certain type of players, certain attributes, certain moves or something I am not sure. I think I need to look into what the difference is because its performing super with my Celtic team.
