read the ******* thread!
he is not sending the tactic to anyone else!
he will release the tactic in a day or 2 when he is happy with it.
infractions for spam to anyone else who asks for it to be sent to them.

This was a bit of a mixed bag for me in the season I tryed it for, had some good games, beating Man U 4-0 away from home being a hightlight, but lost to alot of the lesser teams like Wolves. I am still leaking goals, so will try some of the changes people have advised on the thread and see if it makes a difference. :) I finished 5th in the league with Birmingham anyway, and my right poacher got 25 league goals in 28 games, 39 in 42 overall, and I was top scoreres in the league with 73, but conceded 59 goals :S

Well to stop leaking the goals i've turned my 2 central defenders and defensive midfielders mentality to defensive and turned the goalkeeper to a normal keeper and not a sweeper. I've only conceded 2 goals in 5 games now

Closing down full and tick tight marking. If you look at the defensive forward settings that should help.

Maybe you should try to set mentality level to less attacking, and less forward runs. Higher closing down is good but I think you neet to set closing down to own half, - that way wingers will have to drop deeper to close down enemies, which will result in what you needed - you'll have more compact defence

Okay thanks guys on that defensive inputs..
I will test these things out.

This is on my to-do-list so far.
1. Make winger contribute on defense.
2. Fix overall defensive mechanism. I have a set of potential changes which I will post later.
3. Make ball supply better - partcularly for lesser teams with below-average wingers.

The defensive stuffs I was talking about is
Lowering the mentality.
CB on zonal or man marking. Tight marking on/off, so basically I have to test that in 4 sets of combination.
Once I got that I will try on different defensive lines.

Each combination will be tested 10 matches - against the same teams. So I will have to save-load after each tests.

Hopefully by then I will found a better defensive setting. :)

Well that is not bad finishing 5th - but could be better.
Thanks for testing it around on default setting - that way I can found out which ones I have to work on.

Idk why sometimes its harder to up against lower teams. Probably because they play way defensive and it 'counters' attacking tactics?

____

@ JP Woody : Cheers mate for posting that. I was about to post that but I didnt have the balls. :P
I'm gonna put that on the 1st post.

So guys.. read that. (H)

Alot of the time I concede goals from corners against the little teams, they always seem to mark the 'lurker' steal the ball off him and run the length of the pitch and score. :S

Ok,ive finished my test.I only did it over half a season because im working on my own Clough 10.3 tactic

All in all excellent in the goal scoring area but not so in defence, but its getting that balance right which is the holy grail of plug and play tactics. However any tactic that can get an ordinary Boro side to top of the league has to be taken seriously,on top of that its given Leroy Lita 9 Prem goals in 10 games and Scott McDonald 20 in 20.

This tactic would be unstoppable with a Man Utd,Chelsea or Man City.

A big well done.

Possible areas of Improvement.

1.Make Keeper normal instead of sweeper.
2.Make the Target man a CM with attack mentality.
3.Make 1 CB cover.
4.Turn Anchor Man into a DM.
5.Make FBs Wing Backs, still on support.

Here are some screenshots. Keep up the good work.

Oh so you got counter attacked?
Hahaha typical counter-attacking teams. Yeah I'll work on that :)

Thanks mate on the testing as well as the recommendations.
I will check that out.

And good luck with your tactic too!
I will be available if you need any help on testing :)

Here's my last few games with the slight defensive tweaks i mentioned earlier

(6) I have been testing this with Liverpool.

And after i have played the rest of the season, or as far as i can get tonight, i will upload how well it did.

The only thing i have changed is one of the Strikers setting ( N'Gog ) and i can't tell you what i did, that way you'll all have him scoring 20+ a season like he has.

And we can't have that can we.?

I trying again now mate, with some of the settings Jp said and few others, i will be trying wit fulham.

First game I tried, I moved the DMC position to MC as an advanced playmaker and played Lampard in that role. With England I beat Croatia 5-2, Looks good, defence looked a tad shaky.

O.M.G, I think i've just wet my pants in excitement lol.......... Unlucky Ancelotti, thats what ya get for playing a weakened side against the mighty Posh

So jp woody when will the tactic be released ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Right... So i have done a season with Liverpool.

I kept the tactic the same except 1 thing i played David N'Gog on the right of the 3 strikers, as a Poacher and i spent 25-30 minutes doing his Advanced Setting. That is the only thing i changed.

It is a very good tactic, but it would be better if it was better defensive, as you do let in stupid goals, and too many i think.

Maybe make it a little less attacking and make it stronger at the back.?

Anyway the screenshots says how good it is so enjoy.

Wow! David N'Gog more goals than Torres! Maybe he is as good as you have always said. Bit lame being knocked out of group stages of champs league :(

I spent 30 minutes, doing *** his 'Advanced Setting' to suit him and the tactic, so that is why he did so well. :)
