Thanks to Qetesh for the tactic it works very very well.

I have been using it with Everton (not the worst team, especially some of the quality players through the spine). Have won 2 EPL's and on course to win a third. As well as winning the champions league, fa cup, league cup x 2, community shield x 2, European super cup and club world championship.
 
that mahrez seems like he has been modified with whatever editor lol
 
After new patch the defence is a total disaster. I am playing in Vanarama National League. The tactic was working quite well. I was on 6th place with chances to play for promotion. Now the chance to get promoted is 0%.

My league results after the patch:
0:1
1:1
4:4
1:0
0:2
2:3
0:1
2:6
1:1
3:5

So it was 1W, 3D and 6L after the patch... :( I guess there are no miracle tactics in this FM. 230h of playing and I only advanced from Vanarama North to Vanarama National... Seems like nothing works in this f***ing match engine - AI will always score miraculous goals from crosses and beat you.

I'm assuming the tactic doesn't work in the new patch? First 2 competitive games as Leicester and I lost 5-1 at home to West Ham and 5-0 away at Swansea! Shipped 10 goals in 2 games and had a player sent of in both games!
 
This tactic no longer works for me, it use to work when I first started a season at Liverpool, Won the BPL and the Capital One Cup then I started a new one and won BPL again then I left to go to Man City and won the Champions League. Ever since the 16.3 patch game out it has not been working properly and I only win games by simming them and every time I play a game I get beat.
 
After two amazing season with Benfica with this tactic, it stop working after 16.3 patch. Lots of possession but without goals. Any sugestion?
