4-2-2-2 "Il Devasto"

Well, 15ish games in, my form with this new 11.3 tactic has gone to absolute *****. For every goal I can score the opposition score 3. It worked for a few games then just fell apart. This is with a **** team admittedly but, i'm playing against **** teams so...

any ideas Satorox?

lost in both cups to lower league teams... very poor indeed. Nowhere near as good as your original Sat
 
This tactics starting to come to my team now after 8 or so matches, seems to regularly get 20+ shots on goal with 4+ ccc and this is before it's even fluid for all areas in the match prep. Plus my poacher a 21 year old Russian wonderkid who hasn't yet reached his full potential has got 8 goals in the last 3 games. Looks good to me. Two 7-1 results in my Champions League group also.
 
Don't think I ever seen a 6-6 draw before lol

The best tactic ever I seen for FM 2011 and working great with v11.3 patch again. Thank you.

What kind of players do you recommend for MC's. Good tackler or creative passer?

i usually have one ball winning mc then one creative mc i have fletcher and modric in my save
 
I have built my tottenham team for kiss in the pow tactic, and i had successful 3 seasons with it, i scored 100+ conceded 30-...,avg 3-4 CCC's..
But with this!!! i have 8-14 CCC's per game, i got 14 against man utd, and playing sandro and palacios in midfield instead modric or ganso...

Great job m8!

was that 4-4-2 pow right in the kisser tactic actually any good?

did you have any success in the champions league?
 
Hi Satorox and all,

Thought I'd post some feedback as I am trying your new 11.3 tactic on a my new Man City save. So far it has been truly amazing I haven't lost a game, I score but I do find against classy passing sides it struggles a little bit particularly the back four let through passes slip through a little easily, I think though my team is still geting use to it and eachother....but overall I am glad I am trying this new 11.3 version.

Anyways I'll post some screenshots for you and let you see.

I've found the Ghost tactic - V4 - which is like Il Devasto but with a DM. I will compare and contrast. I love the way Il Devasto moves forward but hate it defensively.
 
I've decided to wait for some more defensively oriented update because it's not working for me when using smaller/medium teams.
It seemes it really requires world class defenders to not concede too often.

I'm starting to believe this tactic is a beast, at least it is once you have assembled a good squad anyway. Convinced that it's possible to have your poacher score 60 league goals using this. It might not happen yet as mine is only 21 but when he peaks at 27-30 I think he might just do it.

well, it allowed me 3 consecutive league titles with tottenham, but that was just easy .. in 3rd season i reached the final and lost to lyon 4:1..
With devasto i beaten real madrid in 4th season final..
This 1 is better, but kiss in the pow is not bad...
