Have you tried it with a split midfield. ie one defensive mid support /auto /anchor /def ./DLP/def/sup

Just a thaught. The def/anc/mid will protect the back line,so the centre mid/ is free to supply the AMC/playmaker who then feeds the ST/FC?Poacher ETC?

DMC can be DMC?DLP?ANCHOR
He can protect your back line and link to your CM
The CM acts a link to your AMC if he is your playmaker who in turn links to your poach/FC/ST/CF ect
