Hello. I would like to share my experience that FM gave me since 2010. I try to find a way to make a tactic very solid in defence and also great in offence at the same time. As you know it's not that easy. Football Manager in those days is different.

The football is very effective. Players playing very collectively, as a team. The key is to have right players on right positions.
For player recommendations I used special filters from WARLORD tactic which is in our forum (thanks to @TotalFootballFan9 and @TottInvincible).
Don't get angry on players! Just try to be calm and assertive sometimes.
When you are down to 10 men do not take off your forward! He can still do something extra in the counter. I recommend to take off AM or one of your wingers, depends on who you've got on the bench.
You can also use my tactic for lower league teams. I'll post some photos in lower section. It's working pretty well for me tho.
If you are complaining on bad morale you can always do a squad meetings.
I always do it once in the month. It helps me a lot when my team are struggling.

OI'S
Do not let your assistant doing that! I've used none OI's and it works great for me, but if you got some extra Opposition Instructions you always can try it.

Of course you can change it to whatever you like, but I've not tested it in the other way.
INDIVIDUAL TRAINING
Just train players to their positions and roles on the pitch (check the formation).
