After watching France play i feel like those were the FM roles assigned to Cabaye, Pogba and Matuidi (i'm in love with this midfield trio).

Now my question is does it work on FM? And what instructions should i give the team?

I see no reason why not, as long as the dlp is set to defend there should be enough defensive cover, and support for the attack.

I've been trying (unsucessfully) to recreate France's tactics.. just like any other tactic in this patch i can't create any chances. i really don't understand i dominated so much with 14.2, then when i installed the patch.. i just can't score

You can. Any midfield requires a holding midfielder to be a pivot, plus a runner, a creator and an agressor

ME has its own ways to make you lose a match when you setup some wrong tactical instructions. Tweak more.

I've been trying a lot of stuff.. right now (with Newcastle) i'm playing like
------------GK------------
FB(s)--CB(d)--BPD(d)--FB(s)
-----------DLP(s)----------
-------BBM----BBM---------
AP(a)------------------W(a)
------------AF(a)----------
Control/Fluid

with Short passing, play out of defence, exploit flanks, play wider, look for overlap, get stuck in and higher tempo

i've been tryin all sorts of combinations (without deviating much from what DDeschamps plays like) but nothing seems to work
