Hey guys, I for one am a bit over using 4-4-2's and all of it's variant as it's all a bit stale and overdone at this point of the game, I'm no tactic creating specialist myself but I wanted to create a throwback of sorts to previous games where the 3 Striker craze was in full effect, it brought out crazy numbers in goals and I want to try replicate that so the reason i'm posting is I wonder if anybody can help me mold it to of course score as many as possible, but to also allow the smaller teams to benefit from the setup as it is a wild formation.

I started it like this with Lyon... (All games shown were simulated btw so no micro mid game management and no set pieces were made or used for them, which will obviously better the tactic)

Shows you how the foundations work with goals, it's all wing backs and STs as the old days were, my only serious issue with the goals was the lack of assists and goals from the CM's (Aouar in particular who is good at everything pretty much) 2 goals 5 assists isn't the worst, but in 51 games it's not too impressive (Again not on him it's more to how I have played him) So i then went on to test a newer version with Atletico. ( I shall also redo a lyon year with the new version to compare)

Scored a few more but with a better team in an a more difficult league, I'm testing with teams that have less wingers and more central attackers (I converted Correa to an ST and Lemar to a CM) And I achieved what I set out to do, created a lot more from the midfielders with the DLPs (Rodri and Saul) not contributing as much as expected. The only real knock on effect has been the STs are scoring less because the midfield is now getting more involved, but the difference in points here compared to a goal difference title win with Lyon makes me believe it's a better version. (Crashed out of CL to Lpool in Quarters)

I might forget lyon and test with a lower/mid table PL team, but if anyone is intrigued, wants to add set piece routines or make their own twist of this it'd be greatly appreciated, I am no tactician so I am as basic as it comes lol any feedback or guidance is good with me (I'll leave it here incase anybody does want to try )

Should add, no OI's and Assistant did General Training. Will go test the Atelti version with a mid table prem team now.
